This photo was taken in one of the popular day hikes (Seceda) in the Dolomites. It has the same crowd level as a typical national park day in the summer so I was not too worried. This mountain was interesting. People were living their lives there and in the midst is a towering ski company that has been expanding their operations. As a result, more and more tourists have come to this mountain. A lot of conflict has happened as the locals blame their tourists for the disruption to daily life while in the background, the company run away like bandits. I will turn to the right of the perspective of this photo and the entire conflict is on display. Ski lifts, restaurants, buildings, people, everything. This perspective sort of shows a dreamy secluded part of the trail away from all the conflict with a contrast with what is happening on the right side.
